  1. My evaluation of my website considers usability, conversion, and overall appearance. I believe that I should change my header image because it still includes a watermark on it, which is unprofessional and will hurt my conversion rate. My site includes a menu bar, which is conducive to efficient navigation. I checked to see that my menu bar works and is in the proper location. My menu bar has three options––home, about, and blog posts. The simplicity of my menu bar will help improve usability because the links work, and the links contain the information that a user would expect to find. Under “about,” I have my about blog that contains informative information regarding my webpage’s purpose. Additionally, my hyperlinks included in each blog post are designed to open in a new tab so that users do not have to backtrack to my website if a link is clicked. One way that I can improve conversion is to set up a daily email subscription process that sends any subscribers a daily joke. I feel as though that option is more likely to evoke a sense of interest in users than sending them an entire blog, or simply sending an email with a link to my entire website. Since I am not selling any products on my website, a subscription will be focused on gaining groups of followers that would like to keep up with my topics/blog page on a regular basis for the purpose of being entertained and challenged to think about interesting topics regarding humor.
